When:

The library offers a weekly library opening, Sunday 1-3 pm and children’s storytime once per week currently during summer months only.

Throughout the year, there are several well-attended local author readings, book launches and other events.

How:

Protection Island residents can borrow books and dvds for free, and donations of gently used books and dvds are gratefully accepted for the library collection or free exchange shelves.

The volunteer library committee, Thora Howell, Gillian Bigl, Cate Muir, is responsible for the operation of the library and programming.
