Protection Island Beacon House is the home of a former lighthouse keeper that has been converted into a community centre, museum, and library of children’s books, adult fiction and non-fiction and DVDs. The library is staffed by trained volunteers. There is a free book and magazine exchange, reading area and children’s space. Children’s story-time is offered once per week, and there are occasional readings throughout the year.
